Terms of Use
Last updated: August 12, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Advancementor Academy website and services (collectively, the "Services"), including course registration, online and in-person classes, quizzes, and any content made available through your student, teacher, or admin account. By creating an account, registering for a course, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Where a student is a minor, registration must be completed and authorized by a parent, guardian, or the enrolling organization, who accepts these Terms on the student's behalf.
Course Registration, Fees, and Payment
Course fees, schedules, and availability are as described at the time of registration. Full payment is required at the time of registration unless otherwise agreed in writing. Your registration is confirmed upon payment and receipt of a confirmation email. All cancellations, refunds, and transfers are governed by our Cancellation, Refund, and Transfer Policies, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Acceptable Use
When using the Services, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Share your account credentials with, or allow class access by, anyone other than yourself.
- Copy, record, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display course materials, video, or audio recordings of classes without prior written permission from Advancementor.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, our servers, or other users' accounts.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or any material that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, or similar tools) to access or collect data from the Services without our prior written consent.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
Code of Conduct
Students, teachers, and other users are expected to treat one another with respect during classes, forums, and any other interaction facilitated through the Services. Advancementor reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who engages in disruptive, abusive, or dishonest conduct, including academic dishonesty such as plagiarism or cheating on quizzes or assignments.
Instructors and Course Content
Instructors are responsible for delivering course content in accordance with Advancementor's academic standards and policies. Advancementor reserves the right to modify course content, substitute instructors, reschedule classes, or cancel courses that do not meet minimum enrollment or other requirements, as further described in our Refund Policy.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, curricula, videos, quizzes, graphics, logos, and other content made available through the Services are the property of Advancementor Academy or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted for personal, non-commercial use in connection with a course you are enrolled in, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of Completion are issued to students who meet the applicable attendance and evaluation requirements for a course. A certificate reflects only that the stated attendance and evaluation criteria were met and does not constitute a professional license, accreditation, or guarantee of employment outcomes.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment processors and social media platforms, which are not owned or controlled by Advancementor. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service.
Disclaimers
The Services and all course content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Course offerings do not constitute an offer of a contract between Advancementor and any student or other party, and Advancementor reserves the right to change any provision, offering, or requirement at any time in order to provide better service in the interest of the Academy and its students.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Advancementor Academy and its officers, employees, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Advancementor for the course or service giving rise to the claim.
Equal Opportunity - Nondiscrimination
Advancementor Academy is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in employment and educational opportunity. No person shall be discriminated against with regard to access to and participation in our programs, services, and activities on the basis of race, sex, color, creed, religion, age, national origin, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, familial status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable, subject to the refund and transfer terms described in our Refund Policy where applicable. You may stop using the Services or request closure of your account at any time by contacting us.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or applicable law. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Advancementor Academy is registered to do business, without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
